Desaru Trip Day 1... 26.09.04...
This was taken in the ferry that we took to reach Desaru... We set off at about 8am to Changi Ferry Terminal... Reached the terminal at about 8.35am... Way too early den the expected time... The whole terminal looked so deserted that we thought we might be at the wrong place... As the time was reaching, people started coming in... Good thing that we had each other for accompany if not I think we will be very bored... After checking in, we still got to wait for time to board the ferry... The ferry trip took about 20mins...
This was taken when my boi boi fall asleep in the little bus that came to fetch us from the ferry terminal to the resort... He was so soundly asleep that he dun even know that I'm taking photo of him... He look so cute... The car ride took about 30mins... Finally we had reach the resort... Was kinda or maybe I should say very packed ba... Packed with so many malays... We were kinda turn off when we saw the sight of it... We reached the resort at about 11+... He felt so sian after seeing so many people in the resort... Lucky after 12 noon, the people start to clear off... Its was then we get the peace that we wished for initially for this trip... Can't get our room yet when we reached there as the room was not ready yet... We were kinda hungry but there was only one cafe so practically most of our meals were eaten there...
After lunch, we went to walk around the resort and took some photos... And get kinda cheeky and took alot of funny face photos... Lol... Waited till about 1.45pm den our room was ready...
Before coming for this tour, I had checked up on some of place of interest in Desaru... So we went to the recreation center in the resort to check out on the mini tour to the places of interest... But to our dismay, every tour required a minimum strength of 4persons... But we only got the two of us... Sobs sobs.. Lucky there was another couple to join us for the trip... If not I think we might not be able to go for all the places... But the thing was that they were not interested in all the places... They only wished to go for the fruit farm... So after some chatting den I managed to get them to go for one more place and that is my biggest wish to go is the FireFlies Tour... Liddat den jiu bu wang chi xin le... So we booked on the fireflies trip at 7.45pm... And the fruit farm trip on the next day morning...
Finally our room was ready... This is our room... Dun be mistaken that the whole chalet is ours ok... Inside this chalet there are 4 different rooms... 529 - 532... Our room was 529... To my disappointment, it din look like a villa at all... Worse still there was no BATHTUB... Hate going on tour without bathtub... Hump... After settling down in the room and got some rest, we went for a swim in the pool... The pool was quite dirty as there were so many people swimming in it earlier on... Swam for about an hour, we went back to bath and rest... Found out that we had no water to drink so we went to the provision shop in th resort and bought some drinks and ice-cream too... We had a nice balcony in our room and there's where we used to spend our quiet afternoon... We can get to see the sea from our balcony... Everywhere seen so peaceful and quiet... We bought two bracklets at the provision shop... One for him and one for me... If he dun wear it, I'll force him to wear... Lol... But I think he liked it alot that even if I din ask him to wear, he will wear it himself lor... Hehehehe... After that we called for room service and had our early dinner before the trip to see fireflies... Din took any photos at the fireflies tour but they were beautiful... But the road to the destination was very scary lor... It wasn't a normal road but a path in the jungle... Think its a short cut or wat ba... But its really very scary and dark... Almost scare till wana cry liao but end up being teased by him... Sobs sobs... If we din stop at the place, I wouldn't even know that its the 'boat terminal'... We had to take a small boat to see the fireflies... The boat was also very scary too... No light at all one lor... Lucky the moon was bright enough to light up the river abit... Finally we saw the fireflies... They were beautiful... Really very beautiful... He caught a few for me and it was so romantic and sweet of him... We were all badly bitten by mosqitos... I was the last one to realise that we were bitten by mosqitos because I'm too engrosed by the beautiful fireflies... Its was a beautiful and romantic night with him... The moon and the fireflies... Thank you, my dear for going on this trip with me... Thanks... Sorry that you were bitten by mosqitos that even up till now still haven't heal... Bought some snacks on the way back to hotel...
This were all taken when we were back in the room... Cheeky right? Lol... After awhile, we both fall asleep le...
